On Monday, cell phone footage captured a woman as she tossed a hot cup of soup at a man screeching racial epithets at passengers on a crowded New York City subway auto, and now there is confirmation that the Harlem-based rapper known as Princess Nokia is the woman behind the soup.

"Yes I threw hot soup in this mans face and kicked him off off the train, and kicked in the face".

"But I be damned if i let some drunk bigot call a group of young teenage boys racist names and allow him to get away with it", she tweeted.

The altercation heightened as the self-proclaimed NYU law grad yammered on about the First Amendment and continued screaming the slur at the top of his lungs, causing passengers to get aggressive and oust him from the train at the next stop. In the video above, you can see fellow straphangers come to her aid and eventually kick the man off the train. It take alot of risks trying to stand up to racist & bigots.

In the past, Princess Nokia has never been one to stand by the sidelines. Before she doused him in her soup, she slapped him, she said.

In the video, you see soup tossed at the guy as he's lying on the ground in an attempt to get up and get his cell phone.

Since talking about the incident online, Frasqueri has received support from long-time fans and others who applauded her action against bigotry.

The apparently intoxicated, Lime-A-Rita holding man, then directed the racial slur at Princess Nokia, at which time she said other men on the train held her hand and comforted her. A woman who can only be heard in the footage dares Lawson to "say it again" before shouting, "This man is a racist!"

Upon doing so, the entire train came together and helped get the guy off the train together.

After the incident, Lawson, in a now-deleted Facebook post, ranted that he was the victim of a "liberal mob". He said he used the word to "mak [e] a point" and that he feels "bad" but he's "not that sorry".
