Coleman, 31, was pregnant at the time of abduction.

Pakistan Army recovered five hostage foreigners from remote area on Thursday, according to inputs from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Coleman and her husband had been held for five years and one day, according to the USA official.

Ms Coleman had told her family she gave birth to two children in captivity.

Their families did not know they had crossed into Afghanistan.
