"We chose IGN because they really understand our vision, share our passion for games, and believe in our mission to promote awesome digital content while helping charity", Humble Bundle co-founder Jeffrey Rosen said in the announcement. Humble branched into other services including a digital storefront, a monthly subscriptions service for games, and most recently as publisher for games like A Hat in Time.

"If it's not broken, don't fix it", said Galbraith, who explained that IGN started looking to make a deal like this almost a year ago. "We don't want to disrupt anything we're doing right already", added Humble Cofounder John Graham. Since launch, the site has raised more than $100 million for various charitable organizations, including the Red Cross and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
