Trump's Former Chief of Staff Interviewed in Russia Probe

Former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus was interviewed Friday by special counsel Robert Mueller's team of investigators, according to multiple reports.
Mueller's team has conducted interviews with a number of current and former Trump campaign and administration staffers as the Russian Federation probe continues.
In a statement, Priebus' lawyer William Burck said his client was interviewed voluntarily.
Mueller is investigating Russian election meddling and any ties to Trump associates, as well as the Russian business transactions of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. He also was present during the presidential transition and served as White House chief of staff during times crucial to Mueller investigation, including while Flynn served in the administration and while Trump made the decision to fire Comey. Politico, which first reported the interview, said Priebus had prepared for the interview for several weeks. His voicemail box was full.
