The cheaper variant of the 'Billion Capture Plus' is priced at Rs 10,999 and comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage.

Smartron has announced that they have collaborated with the online retailer Flipkart as the designer and engineer partner of the newly unveiled Billion Capture+ smartphone.

For Flipkart's first smartphone- Billion Capture+, the company has partnered with Indian technology OEM and IoT brand, Smartron for design and engineering.

The Billion Capture+ has all the ingredients to be a hit for Flipkart, and it'll be interesting to see how the device fares in the country.

"The Billion Capture+ packs features created to deliver on Indian smartphone buyers' biggest needs".

Flipkart's smartphone brand Billion, has launched the Billion Capture Plus smartphone, which shall be on sale from 00:00 hours or midnight of November 15. There are two 13-megapixel sensors at the back with dual flash module.

For the Billion Capture+, Flipkart is providing customers 10 percent cashback on purchases made using HDFC Bank credit and debit cards. The back camera of the Billion Capture+ is capable of capturing shots in super night mode - in other words, it is capable of clicking clear pictures in a low-light situation. Additionally, Idea prepaid users will get 60GB of free data, while Ola users will get 10-ride Ola Share Pass worth Rs 249 for free. At the front, users get an 8MP camera. Under the hood, the handset is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 3GB and 4GB RAM.

Billion Category Hrishikesh Thite said, "Billion is a made-for-India brand and the Capture+ is created to meet the needs of Indian smartphone buyers, including that of premium hardware as well as quality content". Users can also expand the inbuilt storage up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone comes with a premium metal body and sports a 5.5-inch full HD display coupled with 401 PPI. It packs a 3500mAh battery and is claimed to offer two-days of battery life. "To make the proposition even more attractive on the launch day, we've also lined up many exclusive offers", said Hrishikesh Thite, Category Head, Billion.

According to Flipkart, the company also offers the free cloud storage service for the device.

Connectivity options on the smartphone includes a USB Type-C port that also supports an unspecified Quick Charge standard.
