  • 'Arrow': Colton Haynes Confirmed To Return To CW/DC Series

Originally introduced in the back half of season 1, we saw this young man organically develop and eventually blossom into the vigilante known as Arsenal in season 3, with one badass costume to boot.

Harper first appeared in the show's first season and was nearly immediately set up as Thea's boyfriend - a role he would continue in (mostly) until his departure in season 4, when he faked his death and left town. "Roy is called back to Star City to help resolve an urgent matter with high stakes for the team".

Although his visit will be "short", it will turning into "something surprising when he reunites with Thea [Willa Holland] and sparks a change in both of their lives that will have long-lasting consequences".

The 29-year-old actor is back on the Arrow set this week, returning as Arsenal for a few episodes for season 6.

Later, in a personal essay, Haynes revealed why he chose to leave the show. "I had to step back". However, his return was not officially announced until today.

Katie Taylor defends WBA light heavyweight belt in thrilling Jessica McCaskill bout
Still a victor , still a WBA lightweight champion. "If you watch the actual fight there is a lot of mistakes". Taylor responded with a monstrous one-two, the left hand in which stopped McCaskill in her tracks briefly.

Given this "short arc" for Haynes' character, don't expect him to stay long.

With Black Canary, Mad Dog and Mr. Even if he doesn't stick around, the tease from Guggenheim and Mericle certainly leaves the door open for Roy to, say, join Legends of Tomorrow, should Haynes decide to return to superhero TV for good. Terrific made a decision to leave and form a vigilante group of their own in the mid-season finale.

When Arrow returns in January, it will also feature a returning face to the series.

Arrow is now on its winter hiatus and returns with new episodes on Thursday nights at 9pm EST starring on January 18th.
