A minister was embroiled in an extraordinary public spat with Theresa May's former chief of staff today amid claims Justine Greening was axed from the Cabinet for blocking tuition fee cuts.
The 48-year-old who replaced former Defence Secretary Michael Mates as the MP for the East Hampshire constituency in 2010, when the boundary was also changed to include Liphook and Grayshott.
She had been offered the role after being replaced as Education Secretary by Damian Hinds in a cabinet reshuffle.
