The first image of the upcoming successor to the Moto E4 smartphone has been leaked online.
Motorola/Lenovo's Moto E series of smartphones are a low-end offering, so if you're shopping on a budget then these handsets could be worth taking a look at.
The Moto E5 isn't expected to be released until late spring/early summer, so stay tuned for more rumors, reports, and leaks. The scanner is embedded into the Moto logo, just below the main camera. However one notable change is that Motorola has moved the fingerprint sensor from the front onto the back.
The leaked image also reveals the presence of an LED flash on the front to accompany the selfie camera as well as single-LED flash on the back. Lenovo chose a MediaTek chipset for the Moto E4, and the company could continue to use a MediaTek chipset inside the Moto E5, but we would be happier to see a Snapdragon chipset instead. We also expect other connectivity features on the Moto E5 such as GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm headphone port (at the top).
The Moto E5 could be officially announced as soon as April, and we're assuming it will be sold both unlocked, and via some carriers in the US. Expect the price of the phone to be somewhere between $120-$150 (approximately, Rs. 7,500 and Rs. 9,500). The Moto E smartphones are easy on the wallet but pack in good features and render great specifications making these devices a bang for your buck.
