The insider continued, "The whole industry wants to come together to pay their respects to the victims".

According to reports, the tribute will see the names of the 22 people who lost their lives in the attack displayed across a screen during the performance.

Ariana Grande's concert was targeted by a suicide bomber which killed 22 people when an attacker detonated an explosive device as fans left the Manchester Arena on 22 May. "The effects of that awful night resonated far and wide in the music industry and it's only right everyone comes together to pay their respects".

Ariana was left devastated past year when the attack took place claiming the lives of concertgoers - many of whom were children - just minutes after she concluded her "Dangerous Woman" tour gig.

But despite being keen to make an appearance, unfortunately she's now been told by doctors she's not up to it and has dropped out last minute.

Following the shock news, it's now been reported that Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has stepped in to replace Ariana in the emotional Manchester tribute. Jack Whitehall is hosting the show live from London's O2 Arena.

"Liam has saved the day by stepping in at the last minute", a source told the paper.

It comes after he recently hit out at the BRIT Awards for being "too scared" to allow him to perform at the ceremony. It's a flawless choice.

Ariana previously performed at a benefit concert alongside Liam in Manchester weeks after attack. It's sure to be one of the moments of the evening.
