Ariana Grande 'pulls out' of BRITs performance

Getty Images/Dave Hogan for One Love ManchesterAriana Grande was set to take part in a surprise performance at tonight's Brit Awards - the United Kingdom equivalent of the Grammys - but was forced to cancel at the last minute.

The insider continued, "The whole industry wants to come together to pay their respects to the victims".

According to reports, the tribute will see the names of the 22 people who lost their lives in the attack displayed across a screen during the performance.

Ariana Grande's concert was targeted by a suicide bomber which killed 22 people when an attacker detonated an explosive device as fans left the Manchester Arena on 22 May. "The effects of that awful night resonated far and wide in the music industry and it's only right everyone comes together to pay their respects".

Ariana was left devastated past year when the attack took place claiming the lives of concertgoers - many of whom were children - just minutes after she concluded her "Dangerous Woman" tour gig.

"Liam has saved the day by stepping in at the last minute", a source told the paper.

It comes after he recently hit out at the BRIT Awards for being "too scared" to allow him to perform at the ceremony. It's a flawless choice.

Ariana previously performed at a benefit concert alongside Liam in Manchester weeks after attack. It's sure to be one of the moments of the evening.
