"I read a quote from the worst manager in the history of the Premier League, Frank De Boer - seven matches, seven losses, zero goals - that Marcus would not learn under me", said Mourinho.

De Boer had praised Rashford after his impact in Saturday's win over Liverpool and said it is a "pity" the 20-year-old plays under Mourinho at Old Trafford - prompting an angry response from the United boss.

Mourinho confirmed Paul Pogba is a doubt for Tuesday's Champions League game against Sevilla after picking up an injury in training last week, as he suggested his side's victory over Liverpool will count for little unless they back it up with wins in their next two games.

"Tomorrow is a very hard match, we are playing against a team that didn't lose against Liverpool home and away", said Mourinho.

Mourinho, clearly angered by De Boer's comments, fired back at the ex-Netherlands star by branding him the Premier League's worst manager of all-time.

"If he was coached by Frank he would be coached how to lose because he lost every game", he said.

During this winning streak, those numbers are 114 points per game and 47 percent shooting with an offensive rating of 114.5. Houston trailed by 15 at half-time and were down by 17 with less than five minutes to play in the third quarter.

Mourinho did not take kindly the Dutchman's comments, and launched a scathing attack on him during a press conference on Monday.

Rashford was given his first-team debut under Louis van Gaal in the 2015/16 season and has since scored 31 goals in 111 games in all competitions.

Rashford is set to feature in England's squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation and might be granted a more prominent role than expected as Gareth Southgate waits to find out the severity of the ankle injury Harry Kane suffered during Tottenham's 4-1 win over Bournemouth on Sunday. I say Liverpool because they are an example of a very good team, a good example of an important stadium with a big tradition.

It's never a good idea to get into a war for words with Jose Mourinho. Of course not but he is a player that we trust.

'If you go to his numbers and how many games he played with me. Does he play every match from the start? No?

The La Liga club held Liverpool 2-2 at Anfield in the groups before coming from behind to draw 3-3 at home, and are more than capable of getting the away goal that could prove fatal to United's progress. "I'm really happy with Marcus".
