Explosion in Gaza near Palestinian PM's convoy
Hamas and Abbas's Palestinian Authority are still divided over how to implement an Egyptian-brokered reconciliation deal. Three American security specialists were killed and a US diplomat was injured in that blast.

"Police are investigating the content of the letters to identify any potential links". "Two people - a man and a woman - have been taken to a central London hospital as a "precaution", The Independent reports citing London's Metropolitan Police as saying".

Specialist officers investigated the package and found it was not hazardous, a parliamentary spokesperson later said.

The office of opposition Labour MP Mohammad Yasin received the item, while he was not in the room, according to a member of his staff. There has been no evacuation, but the affected area has been cordoned off. Access to the building is otherwise unaffected.

A source said they were anxious it was linked to the sick "Punish a Muslim Day" letters which The Sun revealed were being posted out last week.
