  • LeBron James Is Being Sued for Stealing Barbershop Show Idea

LeBron James and business partner Maverick Carter are being sued by Adventure Enterprises for allegedly taking the company's idea for a barbershop talk show series, according to TMZ.

Adventure Enterprise has filed a lawsuit against the Cavaliers star claiming it had previously pitched a show called "Shop Talk" to UNINTERRUPTED, before being cut out of the production.

Monica Watts, Alabama's associate vice president for communications, said the university was reviewing the situation before determining its next course of action. The lawsuit claims after working on the concept for two years, James cut the company out and created a ripoff called "The Shop", featuring LeBron and his contemporaries in a barbershop.

Adventure Enterprises is gunning for an injunction prohibiting LeBron and his company from producing any more episodes.

Jaguar Land Rover to cut production jobs in UK
Jaguar Land Rover has decided not to renew contracts of about 1,000 of its agency staffers at the Solihull factory in UK. Also, Brexit and related issues have made it increasingly hard for JLR to finalise on a strategy.

When Adventure Enterprises confronted James' representatives about the matter, the company received an apology and was told it was a "one-time" issue that wouldn't happen again. They're also looking for "some serious cash", the gossip site reports.

A person close to James, meanwhile, told USA TODAY that Adventure Enterprises sought payment from the National Basketball Association icon's Uninterrupted more than eight months ago.

It's bad enough LeBron has to deal with an 0-1 deficit in the first round after losing by 18 to the Indiana Pacers, but now has to deal with being sued for a show he has talked so highly about over the past few months.
