Rapper Meek Mill could be headed for a new trial, according to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.
Fox43 reports that the Philadelphia District Attorney has agreed to give Mill a new hearing following months of appealing the heavy handed sentence levied against him by Judge Genece Brinkley.
Mill is now serving a two- to four-year prison sentence for violating his parole stemming from a gun and drugs charge back in 2008.
The behind-the-scenes legal drama surrounding imprisoned rapper Meek Mill continues to build.
For whatever reason, Judge Brinkley's standing her ground. Another hearing was advised by her June.
The D.A.'s office, which think Meek should be granted bail, told TMZ, it thinks the conviction should be tossed "due to serious issues regarding the credibility of the arresting officer in the case, Officer Reginald Graham".
