When most of the people in India were busy in watching IPL 2018, Sachin Tendulkar revisited his childhood days as he stopped his auto and played "gully" cricket (street cricket) in Mumbai.

It's been close to five years since the God of Cricket walked away into the sunset at the Wankhede Stadium, bowing out of worldwide cricket after 24 years of playing the game at the top-most level.

The youth are shocked to see him join the game.

The country is in the grip of T20 cricket as the eleventh season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) got underway ten days ago. While he made a few sporadic appearances thereafter, for the MCC XI in 2014 and the All-Stars Tournament two years later, fans have been missing the trademark straight drives and the glance off his bulky pads all these years.

As Sachin plays his shots, passers-by notice him and a crowd begins to gather around. Even as the vehicle passed by the side, the master could be seen receiving throw downs.

The right-hander, who amassed 2334 runs in 78 matches for the three-time champions, will be hoping for an improved show from MI, who are taking on Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium Tuesday, April 17.

Recently, the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was in the news because he donated his entire salary and allowances to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
