The reality TV star on Tuesday shared a since-deleted photograph of herself sucking on a Flat Tummy Co lollipop ― which she described as "literally unreal".

The Flat Tummy Co brand who makes the pops (and who have 1.5 million followers online) claim that 'it's a struggle to get the time to keep that tummy flat, ' and that these products will 'move some of those stubborn lbs'.

Kim Kardashian has since deleted her posts promoting "appetite suppressant lollipops", but not before Jameela Jamil (or Tahani, to The Good Place fans), grabbed a few screenshots and tweeted her thoughts on the product.

Dr Liam Hackett, activist and founder of anti-bullying charity Ditch The Label, tweeted Kim had abused her influence and ignored the responsibility she has to young people.

The company's website says the lollipops are created to be taken when people experience food cravings. "Disgusting. You should be ashamed". No one should have to feel the need to suppress their appetite to fit to ridiculous beauty standards. "So offended right now".

"She initially wrote "#ad You guys. Encouraging people to starve when you have such a huge platform of young, impressionable women.

Ignoring the hate, one wrote: "Beautiful queen.", as another added: "You look absolutely balm oh my god".

Kardashian's Instagram followers and others on Twitter expressed their disappointment and disgust at the ad, noting it encouraged disordered eating and did not set a good example for Kardashian's young followers.

"What kind of mother would advertise appetite suppressants?"

"This woman has far too much influence over young girls and seems incapable of using it in a positive way".
