Nokia X6 Launch Expected Today, Teased to Sport iPhone X-Like Notch

Recently, HMD Global launched three new smartphones - Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 (2018) in India. Pricing for the 4GB RAM+64GB ROM varinat is Yuan 1499 and the top variant with 6GB RAM+64GB ROM is priced at Yuan 1699. The image clearly matches design of the alleged Nokia X listing on the TENAA telecommunications certification site. The company announced the launch of a new smartphone on May 16, and so far, it has shown the front of the smartphone in a teaser, which highlighted the iPhone X-style notch in the display. Notably, the device renders a screen-to-body ratio of 95%. The front camera also includes AI-based facial recognition technology to unlock the smartphone with your face. A 3.5mm audio port is also present.

The Nokia X6 flaunts a 5.8-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display running at a resolution of 2,280×1,080pixels, and aspect ratio of 19:9. Powering the mid-range smartphone is a Snapdragon 636 chipset, which is the same chipset found inside the Redmi Note 5 Pro. There is expected to be 32GB/ 64GB onboard storage, expandable up to 128GB. All three variants will support storage expandability up to 256GB via microSD card.

The Nokia X is equipped with two 16-megapixel sensors in its vertical dual rear camera setup, while front camera specifications are yet to be disclosed. The cameras get some AI support as well which helps improve image quality and bokeh effect. Here are the retailer links for Nokia X6 variants.
