The pictures show Kaitlin Bennett carrying an AR-10 and her graduation cap with the words "Come and take it".

It's possible some of Bennett's classmates were uneasy with the firearm glorification, considering Kent State was the epicenter of one of the most culturally significant shootings in history when unarmed students were shot by the Ohio National Guard in 1970, resulting in 4 deaths and 9 injuries, during a protest of the Vietnam War.

A woman who graduated from Kent State University in OH has caused an uproar over a campus photo shoot.

The post was retweeted more than 1,900 times and had more than 2,700 comments.

Kaitlin Bennett, a 22-year-old Second Modification supporter from Zanesville, Ohio and founding father of Liberty Hangout, a libertarian scholar media outlet at KSU, posed in entrance of the Kent Pupil Heart for the tweet that has gone viral.

He also said that all guns are banned at Dix Stadium and that Bennett notified the university of her intent to have the photos taken.

In Senate Hot Seat, Scott Pruitt Dodges Questions Over Mounting Scandals
Most of the committee's six Democratic members have publicly called for Pruitt's resignation. She signaled she'll have questions for Pruitt on both policy and ethics.

"I needed to attract consideration to the gun insurance policies on campus that enable company to open carry, however not college students", she mentioned. "I find it insulting that the school values the lives of their guests more than those attending the university for four years".

Kent State's website said the university has rules forbidding students, faculty and staff from carrying "deadly weapons". Mansfield said they were taken Sunday, the day after graduation.

Bennett mentioned although she's acquired demise threats due to her submit, she has no regrets.

Bennett posted again on Tuesday, writing, "I have no apologies for my graduation photos". "As a lady, I refuse to be a sufferer & the second modification ensures that I haven't got to be".

Bennett sent out a follow-up tweet to clarify she was holding an AR-10 rifle, not an "assault rifle", after many lashed out at her.
