Becoming a manager himself is something Carrick might want to pursue one day but that is not something he intends to push for yet. The end game, maybe, if I get into it and I think I'd like to manage - probably at this stage, my answer would be yes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Tuesday at the Mamata Banerjee government describing Monday's blood-soaked panchayat polls as "murder of democracy".

"People weren't allowed to file nominations". Addressing party workers at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi after the Karnataka results were declared, Modi said the country must take "serious note" of the violence in Bengal where "all leading parties except the one that rules Bengal suffered".

The state's ruling Trinamool Congress, however, claimed that the people were able to exercise their democratic rights and said the situation was well handled barring a few isolated incidents.

"Where is the spirit of democracy?" Some people are saying that it's a battle of survival for the Left and Congress; the BJP hopes to put up a fight and establish itself as the main opposition party.

As per news agency IANS, PM Modi further said, "It is not just about winning elections".
