A Prince orchestral concert series has been announced, which will see the stars hits performed by a full symphony orchestra.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life", Prince once sang so beautifully.

Live Nation Urban and TCG Entertainment will bring their newest production, "4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince", to Norfolk's Chrysler Hall on Tuesday, September 11.

Questlove-Curated Orchestral Tour Celebrating Prince Comes to Brooklyn

Former Prince backing bands the Revolution and New Power Generation both toured in 2017, but 4U represents the first tour backed by the Prince since his death in April 2016.

Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE: LYV) is the world's leading live entertainment company comprised of global market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday. Questlove, an avid Prince fan, has helped curate the music and orchestral arrangements, drawing from the maestro's singular and extensive music catalog.

It's been more than two years since Prince left this plane of existence, but his spirit and his music live on. The performances will feature guest vocalists as well as videos and photos provided by Prince's estate.
