The smell of her neighbor's smoking has now invaded Duff's apartment and caused her to have very strong feelings about his lifestyle.

Hilary Duff has publicly shamed her neighbour for smoking. In an 11-slide Instagram story Wednesday morning, the Younger star detailed her frustration at getting a bad night's sleep because of this guy's hijinks. "My neighbor smokes cigarettes and weed all night long".

In a move that would make her sassy Younger character, Kelsey Peters, proud, Duff made like a true millennial and put her neighbour, Dieter Addison, on blast on Instagram Stories.

In a second clip, Duff continued: "We know your parents pay your rent, we know you've never worked a day in your life. Must be nice. Have some respect for your neighbors who work hard to live in that building", Duff continued, shaking her head.

There were also, of course, a series of photos of Addison that Duff shared, as well as his Instagram handle. "Don't be a dick, dude". "Worked 15 hours yesterday and back at work again at 5:30 a.m".

She drew cat faces on his profile picture, seemingly to taunt him to respond. "It scares me and my kid", she later wrote, referring to son Luca, 6.

"I don't have that relationship with social media where I'm super obsessed with it", she said.

But if you cross her, she'll call you out on social media, rallying her millions of followers to set you straight. A 2016 New York Times obituary said he was a self-made man who built a business empire that included a family vineyard, importing Lowenbrau beer to New York state and starting a distribution network for other beers. "Or...actually, I really hope your hangover hurts". I'm not doing enough. However, calling someone else out for coming from money when you've been a famous actress since childhood feels a bit pot and kettle from where I sit. "I think it was meant to be a great thing and now has these negative side effects, so I think eliminating it from your life a little more and trying to have a healthy relationship with it, like anything else - food or drinking or exercise, whatever".
