According to a police report, Timothy Manley was travelling from Colorado Springs, Colorado, along with his wife, Petrini Manley, 56, and Joshua Manley, 27, all from Gainesville.

Matthew and Hazel, who is 20 weeks pregnant, began yelling at Timothy as best they could. The Manleys also complained that the dog, a Great Dane, was taking up too much space.

Timothy Manley punched the service dog, Zariel, and caused it to yelp. Police say Manley punched the dog with a closed fist because he felt the dog took up more space than it deserved.

Manley was later arrested after police crossed paths with him in the terminal, and Manley himself said, "It took you long enough to get here", the Sentinel reported.

However, as the plane descended, the Great Dane woke up and began stretching. Upon touchdown and taxiing, the canine reportedly wakened, at which level Manley punched it within the face.

Phillip Moreno, who works at the airport, shot video of the scene, which he described as total chaos to Orlando's WESH-TV.

"Unfortunately, the man [was] determined to leave so he ran through and punched my belly, then pushed my two daughters; they fell and cried so hard", Ramirez said.

The Orlando Sentinel reports Manley passed by police, but was tackled by Silvay and held down until officers arrived.

Ramirez told police that she does wish to prosecute and will testify in court.

"The safety and security of our passengers is our top priority at Frontier", the statement added.

"Police were immediately notified to aid in deescalating the situation".

Orlando police turned the case over to the FBI, which is now handling the investigation since it took place on an aircraft.
