"There's a special place in hell for any foreign leader that engages in bad-faith diplomacy with President Donald J Trump and then tries to stab him in the back on the way out the door", he said.

Kudlow's and Navarro's comments come on the heels of a tense G7 summit that left relations with USA allies even more fractured than before.

"It would be with regret but it would be with absolute certainty and firmness that we move forward with retaliatory measures on July 1 applying equivalent tariffs to the ones that the Americans have unjustly applies to us", Trudeau said at a press conference closing the summit.
But unity was torn apart when the USA president took exception to Mr Trudeau calling United States policy "insulting".
US President Donald Trump, apparently still fuming over "dishonest and weak" Justin Trudeau for threatening to respond to US tariffs in kind, took to Twitter to slam the Canadian PM again and vent his anger at the tight-fisted EU.
And minutes after the President's tweets, reporters were sent an e-mail that had clearly been prepared earlier touting Mr Trump's participation in the summit, complete with photos.
But by ordering his representatives to back out of the communique, Mr Trump appeared to be asserting his oft-stated aim of upsetting the status quo whether by pulling out of the global climate accord or the worldwide nuclear deal with Iran or threats to scrap the North American Free Trade Agreement.
