Donald Trump: Robert De Niro Is a 'Very Low IQ Individual'

President Trump on Tuesday slammed Robert De Niro as a "very Low IQ individual" who has "received to many shots to the head", after the actor's profanity-laced tirade during Sunday's politically charged Tony Awards. I watched him last night and truly believe he may be 'punch-drunk'.

De Niro is a seven-time Academy Award nominee, and won Oscars for playing Vito Corleone in "The Godfather Part II" and Jake LaMotta in "Raging Bull".

But a day after his historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Donald Trump has managed to spew out a little more ire for... actor Robert De Niro.

Actor Robert De Niro speaks before introducing Bruce Springsteen's performance. Without any preamble, he said, "I'm gonna say one thing".

During the Tony Awards, De Niro, who has frequently sparred with Trump, drew a standing ovation with an anti-Trump rant.

Greece, Macedonia reach deal to end name dispute
The new name will be used both domestically and internationally, and Macedonia will amend its constitution as part of the deal. Greece and Macedonia are involved in a longtime dispute over the name of the Republic of Macedonia .

Yesterday De Niro apologised - not for his comments but on behalf of the United States president.

De Niro's first prominent act of speaking out against Trump arrived in a PSA video preceding the presidential election in October 2016, when the actor called Trump a "dog", a "mutt", a "con", and an "idiot", and said of then-candidate Trump, "I'd like to punch him in the face".

I doubt De Niro is going to lose much sleep over this, though, and, just for fun, here's his hit on Trump.

And, after the f-bombs at the Tonys on Sunday night, it looks like De Niro is staying true to his word about speaking out. While in Toronto Tuesday morning, De Niro told Canadians he was sorry for Trump's behavior. "It's a disgrace. And I apologize to [Canadian Prime Minister] Justin Trudeau and the other people at the G7".
