Onlookers and reporters tracked the critter's progress at it climbed the UBS Tower yesterday, interrupting work and causing anxiety for some. By Tuesday afternoon, it had stopped on a ledge more than 20 stories high.

The raccoon's exploits went viral, earning him the #mprraccoon hashtag.

The account also tweeted: "Oh great ... Not what I need right now".

When building workers attempted to nab the raccoon from the ledge, it scurried over to UBS Plaza.

Government wins Brexit bill vote after concessions
He called for Brexit to be delayed, and for the public to get a second referendum on the terms of any exit deal. He responded: "I think Dominic Grieve's amendment makes a no deal Brexit more, rather than less, likely".

This all started at about 11 a.m. Tuesday when Minnesota Public Radio reporter Tim Nelson noticed the fuzzy friend trapped on an overhang near the bottom of the UBS Building in downtown St. Paul.

The raccoon has gotten Twitter so excited that someone has even started an account on the critter's behalf: "The St. Paul Raccoon".

Many citizens posted on Twitter they were concerned for the raccoon's safety and were anxious it had not eaten since it started its journey.

The raccoon has developed quite the following on Twitter, and people are understandably pretty anxious for it. James Gunn, director of iconic raccoon film Guardians of the Galaxy, has even promised to donate $1000 to the non political charity of choice for anyone who can save Skyscraper Raccoon. "Poor dude", he wrote on Twitter.
