Airbus Commercial Aircraft chief operating officer Tom Williams said any Brexit scenario had "severe negative consequences" for the United Kingdom aerospace industry, Airbus in particular. "The best option is leaving with a good deal, but you've got to be able to walk away from the table".

Meanwhile, Britain's Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, who was one of the main proponents for leaving the European Union, called for a "full British Brexit" in an article penned for the Sun newspaper.

Jurgen Maier, head of Siemens in Britain, told the BBC in an interview that slogans about Brexit were "incredibly unhelpful".

"Brexit is not a done deal".

"This is a careful process, it is not created to scare the horses to worry people, it is created to get the work done".

"Work is going on all these things for both the negotiated outcome and if something goes wrong", Mr Davis said.

He told BBC Radio 4's Today that the firm wanted a soft Brexit with "minimum friction", saying the Government had presided over "two years of not having achieved what we were promised, which is that this was all going to be easy".

The march against Brexit is part of a "summer of action" planned by campaign groups to put pressure on political leaders to hold a vote on the final deal.

"Accordingly, we believe now is the time to issue instructions to United Kingdom authorities to accelerate their preparations for "no deal" and a move to a World Trade Deal under WTO rules that, after all, govern the vast majority of global trading arrangements today".

"Across the country I find people who - whatever they voted two years ago - just want us to get on and do it", he wrote.

Marchers will descend on Parliament Square, where speakers will include Liberal Democrat leader Sir Vince Cable, Tory former minister Anna Soubry, Labour's David Lammy and Green co-leader Caroline Lucas.

Writing in The Sun, Johnson urged against a "bog-roll Brexit", British slang for toilet paper, and called on his boss to "fulfil the mandate of the people and deliver a full British Brexit".

The march comes amid a poll this week that found 48 percent of people supported a referendum on the final deal, while 25 percent were opposed to it.

But under European Union legislation called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect last month, firms face fines of up to €20 million (£17.6 million) or 4 per cent of global turnover - whichever is higher - if they are caught storing the data of European Union customers in non-EU countries, which will include post-Brexit Britain. Brexit is not inevitable.

Britain had voted for "the freedom to bust out of the corsets of EU regulation and rules" he said, and any softening of the final deal - such as continued membership of the single market and customs union - would be unwelcome.

The People's Vote campaign, which organized the march, argues that public opinion is turning against Brexit as the economic costs become clearer.

An EU memorandum said: 'All persons who need recognition of their professional qualifications with a view to access a regulated profession are reminded of legal repercussions.
