9000 bourbon barrels crash down in Kentucky warehouse collapse

Photo credit: Chief Billy Mattingly/Bardstown Fire DepartmentA bourbon distillery warehouse has partially collapsed in Bardstown, Kentucky spewing 9,000 barrels of bourbon down a hillside, said Milt Spalding with Nelson County Office of Emergency Management.
According to Fox News, a portion of a bourbon storage facility collapsed suddenly near Louisville in Kentucky on Friday morning, leaving the other portion in danger of buckling with little support.
Water samples taken in the area have come back clean.
Officials said no one was harmed at Barton 1792 when the rickhouse, a storage structure for aging bourbon, suffered partial structural failure.
WLKY is reporting the building collapsed at the Barton 1792 Distillery around 11 a.m. Friday. Spokeswoman Amy Preske said the company was assessing the damage and declined further comment.
The Emergency Management director said he has attended to warehouse fires, but never a collapse.
