Na claims 2nd career tour win

Na's lone PGA victory came in 2011 after eight years on the Tour.

Anirban Lahiri of India, who shot a 61 in the second round, shot 71-76 on the weekend to end up tied for 39th at 5 under.

"It's nice to get that second trophy", said Na.

Simpson's tee shot went 179 yards to the left greenside bunker and his bunker shot went 20 yards to the green where he had a two-putt for bogey on the 205-yard par-3 third.

"It feels incredible. I see the record every time on TV; the most top fives, the most top 10s without a win", he told the Golf Channel.

Kraft received a good consolation prize in addition to the hefty second place cheque when he became one of the four players to earn at start at Carnoustie in ten days time being one of the four players not otherwise exempt to the Open Championship and finishing inside the top ten this week. The finish gave him a spot in the British Open. He's now made $2 million or more in eight of the last 10 seasons, and has 55 top-10 finishes in that span as well.

He's had three dozen top-10 finishes since that last win and showed signs earlier this year that reaching the top again was still well within reach. The only blemish for Kim all week at Thornberry Creek at Oneida was a double bogey in the second round Friday.

Na turned professional at age 18 in 2001, playing on the European, Asian and Web.com Tours, winning on the latter two, before earning his PGA Tour card in 2004. She had 31 birdies and one eagle, another record for most sub-par holes in a tournament.

Kim tied another Sorenstam record when she was 24 under through 54 holes.

They went back to the 18th tee for the playoff, and Knox pitched from 131 yards to virtually the same spot on the green.

Knox closed with a 6-under 66 to set the clubhouse target at 14-under par.

He sank a five-foot birdie putt at the fourth and one twice as long at the fifth before dropping a 32-footer at the sixth.

Fox failed to match the birdie, his putt agonizingly lipping out, and Knox put his hands to his face.

Defending champion Xander Schauffele, who was one shot behind when the round started, bogeyed five of his first six holes.

"It feels incredible", Na said. "It's why I play golf - all the practice days, all the misses, all the bad moments, all are taken care of with putts like that Making two of them from nearly identical positions, I mean, that's a bit of a bonus".

With a 65, Kevin Na moved into third place at 13-under.

He parred every hole on the front nine Saturday and his lead improved to four after birdie putts of 19 feet at No 10 and five feet at No 12 and holing a 40-foot pitch shot at No 11.
