Although fans thought Samira left the villa because she wanted to pursue a relationship with Frankie Foster, who left the show last week FYI, it turns out there could be a bit more to it.

Samira (22) had been unlucky-in-love and waited several weeks to find a connection with someone and she had started to have feelings for Frankie.

"Feel to boycott love island until they show the islanders what happened with this kiss", another user wrote,"forever giving Georgia a free pass meanwhile Samira is struggling to catch a break..."

22-year-old Samira has chose to follow her heart, telling Dani: "We've been here from the start and I finally got what I wanted and now I feel like I'm back at square one but worst. I am happy with Laura, we have gone through a lot and what me and her have is genuine".

Samira slept on the decision and then told Ellie, Dani, and Megan she had made up her mind: "So my lovely handsome girls, you guys know that I've had a really tough couple of days here recently and I've been umming and ahhing about leaving". I need to make sure that within my heart that is how I feel also and I know you respect that.

After the bombshell recoupling is announced, a gloomy Alex says: "This is insane, either she picks me or I go home..." You seem like the old Samira back again. I'm devastated by it.

In danger: Dr Alex is feeling the heat as he says to Georgia Stell and Sam Bird: "This is insane, either she picks me or I go home..." And I'm not saying I'm in love with Frankie or we're going to get married tomorrow but I don't want to waste any time, I just want to see him and I know this is the right thing to do. It's just making my decision really, really hard because they are all so lovely and I don't want to send anybody home... There is a new girl here and I am going to have brunch with her.

Later on, after she arrives at the villa, Alexandra says in Beach Hut: "Alex is such a gentleman, he is so respectful, he is somebody that I can talk to, he is supportive and understanding and that's what I'm looking for".

"I am very sad today", the West End performer explained which led to Idris asking what would put her in a good mood.

Love Island airs tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
