Brock Lesnar Will Reportedly Defend The Universal Championship At SummerSlam

  • Roman Reigns may challenge Brock Lesnar next

Well, it appears as if the fans finally know when he will wrestle next and it is going to be at next month's SummerSlam.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar's return match will take place at SummerSlam, but his opponent is not yet known.

More recently, Diaz has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons after he was arrested in Las Vegas where he now faces several felony charges after he was accused of assault in a domestic violence case. Roman Reigns match would be the number 1 contender but WWE has not said that during the build-up on TV.

Fightful Wrestling will continue to update readers on Lesnar's future schedule. Vince McMahon was apparently "adamant" that announcers not talk about Lesnar at all on Raw as he wants to turn him into a mega heel.

It goes without saying that this is something WWE should avoid, and it goes without question that Braun deserves to be the Universal Champion once Lesnar departs for UFC.

Chelsea announce Antonio Conte departure
Napoli midfielder Jorginho has reportedly arrived in London to undergo his medical with Chelsea ahead of joining the club. Chelsea have fired manager Antonio Conte after a two-year tenure in which he won the English Premier League and FA Cup.

At the same time, Reigns has been built up to eventually defeat Lesnar for several years now. To never actually pull the trigger on that would be an enormous waste of time in some ways, though the storyline hasn't played out as well as WWE had hoped, so scrapping the match might also be looked at as a way of cutting their losses before wasting even more time.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that this superstar is Money in the Bank victor Braun Strowman and for a very important reason.

At the Greatest Royal Rumble event, Brock Lesnar defended his WWE Universal Championship despite being speared through the cage wall by Roman Reigns.

Either way, it would seem we're in for a new Universal champion at SummerSlam, though Lesnar has shocked us before when we thought he would lose.
