US President Donald Trump is expected to adopt a softer tone than the one he set earlier this week at a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit when he takes tea with Britain's Queen Elizabeth II.

"But what has to happen first.is that we reach an agreement with the European Union itself, so that we can exactly piece together how we can do the trade deals we want to do with the rest of the world". You see what's going on throughout the world with immigration. "I think he's got what it takes".

On Thursday, CBS News' Haley Joelle Ott reports protesters numbering in the dozens showed up to express their outrage over the Trump administration's recently policy about separating children from their families at the border. Melania styled her hair into loose side-swept curls, adding smoky eye makeup and pink lipstick to complete the dazzling look.

Donald Trump's first official visit to the United Kingdom has started awkwardly, after he appeared to criticise prime minister Theresa May's Brexit strategy.

He also told the paper that Boris Johnson, who resigned on Monday (9 July) as foreign secretary in protest of May's Brexit white paper, would make "a great prime minister" and that May ignored his advice on Brexit. French President Emmanuel Macron quickly disputed Trump's claim that North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies had agreed to boost defense spending beyond their existing goal of 2 percent of gross domestic product by 2024.

Ambassador Johnson sought to play down Trump's comments.

The Trumps landed in Air Force One at Stansted Airport at lunchtime on Thursday to kick-start a four-day working visit to Britain as protests against his trip began.

Just hours before Trump's interview was published, May invoked Winston Churchill, a hero of Trump, as she addressed the United States president and business leaders at a black-tie dinner at Blenheim Palace, the grand 18th-century country house that was the birthplace of the British World War Two leader.

On Saturday, Trump supporters will rally near the U.S. embassy in Nine Elms, south London, for an event titled "Welcoming Trump to Britain Rally - Make Britain Great Again", at which a number of right-wing figures are scheduled to speak.

Potentially tens of thousands are expected to march to a rally in Trafalgar Square on Friday afternoon, organized by the "Stop Trump Coalition".

Russia, Brexit and the Middle East are set to top the agenda.

Downing Street insisted Mrs May welcomed Mr Trump's decision to "engage" with the Russian leader.

Trump also criticised May in a press conference in Brussels following a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit there just before flying to London, casting doubt on whether she will deliver on British voters' intentions when they backed leaving the European Union in a 2016 referendum. May had used the Blenheim black tie dinner with political and business leaders to press Trump on the benefits of a free trade deal after Brexit. She does everything in public to avoid one.

May and Trump are scheduled to hold talks and a joint news conference on Friday.

They will then meet the Queen for the first time, at Windsor Castle, before heading to Scotland where the U.S. president will spend the weekend at his Turnberry golf course in Ayrshire. This part of the visit is being considered private.

Trump next heads to Windsor Castle for tea with the queen, as protesters stage a mass demonstration in London.

The Police Commissioner for Lincolnshire later tweeted that "sadly" there were reports officers who put photographs of the "sorry conditions" on social media were being "sought out".
