Investigators have not specified a motive at this time and are still looking for additional suspects.

A GoFundMe campaign established by Mendoza for his grandfather's medical expenses has already blown way past its $15,000 goal, raising almost $200,000.

Rodriguez, who said he travels about twice a year from his home in Mexico to visit relatives in Willowbrook, suffered a broken jaw, broken cheekbones, two broken ribs and bruises on his face, back and abdomen, his family said.

Rodolfo Rodriguez had left for his daily walk near his family's home in Willowbrook on July 4 when he passed a small girl and a woman, the latter of whom attacked him with a concrete block without warning, he told CNN.

An eyewitness told KABC that the attack started after Rodriguez passed the woman while walking down the sidewalk.

The woman also told Rodriguez to "go back to your country", Borjas said, according to NBC Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Sherriff's Department (LASD) said in a statement that they obtained a search warrant for Ms Jones, a Los Angeles resident, and arrested her "without incident". The witness was able to get a picture of the woman who was walking with a little girl.

Jones is accused of throwing a concrete block at 92-year-old Rodolfo Rodriguez.

Investigators are still attempting to determine whether there were more individuals involved in the attack. A weapon has not been located.

The full list of foods affected by the bacteria have now been revealed, and consumers should be trying their best to avoid them. The Woolworths product is sourced from Belgium and contains frozen sweetcorn sourced from the Greenyard Factory in Hungary.

Rodriguez is now recovering at home, according to NBC Los Angeles.

The elderly man was born in Mexico but is a permanent resident of the United States.

"I can't walk", Rodriguez said.

An attorney taking on Rodriguez's case pro bono addressed speculation that the man is in the USA illegally. "A judge is going to decide what she will pay for what she did".

"I'm just overwhelmed how anybody can do this to a human being at all", Mr Mendoza told CBS News. Immediately following the attack, authorities said there may have been four men involved in the incident, but they didn't provide any detailed suspect descriptions.

Jones was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Department at 323-890-5500.

"I'm going to leave her to the law, I'm not capable of saying give her 10 or 15 years", Rodriguez said Wednesday.
