Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo has reportedly emerged as a transfer target of English Championship club, Stoke City.

Liverpool have confirmed they have completed the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City.

Xherdan Shaqiri is relishing the chance to get into the big time after he finally became Liverpool's third signing of the summer.

The winger netted a 90th minute victor against Serbia to help Switzerland qualify for the knockout stages, but they were defeated by Sweden in the round of 16.

Jurgen Klopp is keen to draft Shaqiri, 26, into his squad ahead of Liverpool's pre-season tour of the United States towards the end of this month.

Barcelona sign Clement Lenglet on five-year deal from Sevilla
La Blaugrana paid Lenglet's full €35m release clause after failing to negotiate a lower fee for the France worldwide . Barca now have four centre-backs in their ranks with Gerard Pique, Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen.

The Switzerland worldwide became the club's third new arrival this summer by completing the formalities of a medical and his transfer on Friday.

Shaqiri underwent his medical on Friday where he met up with Klopp and some of his new team-mates, including fellow new-boy Naby Keita.

Shaqiri can operate in an advanced role across midfield as well as in the front three, which will enhance Jurgen Klopp's ability to rotate his forwards. Adding the Switzerland worldwide can provide much-needed cover for star forward Mohamed Salah in particular.

Shaqiri wears the No. 23 for Switzerland and could well adopt the number vacated by Emre Can on his new venture at Juventus.

With respect to Shquiri's much cheaper release clause and his vast experience of playing in different leagues, no doubt he could be the ideal acquisition for the Reds in many ways. Liverpool is taking significant steps to strengthen the squad comprehensively as the Premier League title challenge looks within the reach.
