  • Meghan, Duchess of Sussex joins The Queen for second balcony appearance

Kate Middleton donned the stunning Air Cadets Dacre broach, made of diamonds and rubies, on her chest for the Royal Air Force Centenary celebrations in London.

It's a look royal fans will have recognised - as Kate has opted for a similar look at all of her children's christening ceremonies.

Meghan wore a black Dior dress with a boatneck neckline and a matching Stephen Jones fascinator.

It's been reported that, now she's married to Prince Harry, Meghan has to adhere to a series of royal clothing decrees - first and foremost that tights should be worn at all events.

Royal experts have continued to draw comparisons between the two women, ever since Kate and Prince William announced their engagement in 2010.

The Duchess kept up her signature nude lip look as well.

It's been a busy week so far for the royal family with Prince Louis' christening on Monday at St James's Palace and a series of Royal Air Force centenary celebrations today. And appropriate for the occasion, mother Kate Middleton chose to bring back a christening staple: a white dress by Alexander McQueen - the very designer she wore to both Prince George's and Princess Charlotte's christenings, as well as her 2011 wedding to Prince William.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at the Abbey together with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, with the Princes in their uniforms and Kate Middleton again sporting Alexander McQueen.

They have a jam-packed itinerary in Dublin including meetings with the Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, and Irish President, Michael D. Higgins, and visits to the likes of Croke Park.

The Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, Duke of Cambridge, Duke of York, and Duke and Duchess of Sussex then attended a reception here.

The RAF, described as the world's first independent air force, was founded on April 1, 1918 as an armed force independent of the British Army and the Royal Navy.
