Perhaps the most puzzling actions of all came from Markle's father, Thomas Markle. When asked about his daughter, he says: "my thing about my daughter right now is I think she is terrified".

But a special little boy not only got to stand next to the Duchess of Sussex, he was also able to touch her face and hair. Indeed, if she continues at her current rate, she could spend nearly £1 million (R17million) by the end of the year. Thomas said. "It is probably the longest time I have gone without speaking to her ever".

He continued: "This one isn't even a stage smile - this is a pained smile". That might be just having a couple of bad days. I don't know", but added, "It really worries me. He emphasized, "There's a high price to pay to be married to that family".

Referring to a number of recent outfits that he'd seen Meghan wearing during royal visits, he said: "Meghan seems like something out of an old movie".

Along with calling the royals "outdated", Thomas claimed that he was being "shunned" for his staged paparazzi shots. Fashion designer Nina Kharey says in a release that seeing the duchess in her dress is "beyond exciting".

Added Markle: "They are no less human than anybody else. She is trying so hard to fit in and adapt to this very new way of life and she was once again blindsided by a father who supposedly cares about her and doesn't want to embarrass her".

Leading up to the Royal Wedding, the family members caused so much negative press, media coined the drama 'The Markle Debacle'. He voiced 'My message to her [Meghan Markle] would be, "I love you, I miss you, I'm sorry for anything that went wrong,"'.

"I would like to make this my last interview", he said. "I'm fairly outspoken about certain things but I'm no different to any other father".

Since joining The Firm on May 19, her diary has been jam-packed with royal events - including a day out at Ascot, a family wedding and, this week, her first foreign tour. "I have had a fairly successful life".
