Michael Cohen trolls Trump over Russian Federation summit

"The attention of the whole world is focused today on Helsinki and it's crystal clear to everyone: the fate of the world is being decided between Russian Federation and the United States, the leaders of the two major powers of our planet are meeting", Pushkov said in a Twitter post on Monday.

"This is the first high-end luxury vehicle manufactured domestically in many years", says a Russian state media webpage about the Kortezh, in a nod to the old Cold War days in which Soviet-made Zil limousines ferried communist leaders around.

Donald Trump today blamed bad relations between Moscow and Washington on the U.S. investigation into alleged Russian election meddling - and Russia promptly agreed.

But luckily for us, we had Jonathan Lemire.

Watch the hosts' Trump takedowns in the videos embedded above, then hit the comments and tell us: Do you agree with their criticism?

Colbert wasn't the only late-night host who was incredulous over the day's events - specifically, the news conference with President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which Trump sided with Putin and dismissed US intelligence agencies that said Russia meddled in the 2016 election. Trump's warm words for Russian Federation were a marked contrast from the past week when he repeatedly rebuked traditional US allies at a summit of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and during a visit to Britain.

"Who do you believe?"

Trump ally Newt Gingrich called it, "the most serious mistake" of Mr Trump's presidency - and one that, "must be corrected immediately".

"Would you now, with the whole world watching, tell President Putin, would you denounce what happened in 2016, and would you warn him to never do it again?"

"By affording him [Putin] the trappings of an equal partner Mr. Trump has given President Putin what he craved most: respect..."

Common heart drugs recalled due to contamination
The drugs might contain the ingredient valsartan, which is used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure , the FDA said. The drug contains NDMA, which has been classified as a "probable human carcinogen", which means it could cause cancer.

"We have been clear in our assessments of Russian meddling in the 2016 election and their ongoing, pervasive efforts to undermine our democracy, and we will continue to provide unvarnished and objective intelligence in support of our national security", Mr Coats said.

But Lemire didn't stop there.

A gold star to anyone who guessed Trump's freakish behaviour during his joint press conference with Putin in Finland would be top of mind for Stephen Colbert when he kicked off Monday's monologue for Global's "The Late Show". In a tweet, he blamed the poor US relationship with Russian Federation on "many years of USA foolishness and stupidity and now, the Rigged Witch Hunt!"

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi was quick to condemn Trump's performance in Helsinki, tweeting: "Just several days ago, 12 Russians were indicted for attacking our democracy". He said Russian Federation remained the "most aggressive foreign actor" trying to disrupt the US political system.

"Is it possible Vladimir Putin brought a hypnotist to that meeting instead of a translator?"

The summit started late because Mr Putin arrived in Helsinki about a half hour behind schedule in another display of the Russian's leader famous lack of punctuality.

For Brett Bruen, a former White House director of global engagement, watching Monday's news conference felt like witnessing "America's surrender" on the diplomatic stage to a tyrant bent on dividing the West.

"We have not been getting along well for the last number of years, " Mr Trump said as he and Putin sat down at the Presidential Palace in Finland's capital.

"We need our Republican colleagues to stand up for the good of this country", he said.

Trump's renewed questioning of U.S. intelligence - at the same time he insisted that he has "great confidence" in it - came even as the U.S. Justice Department announced yet another indictment targeting an alleged Russian operative - this time, a woman in Washington who allegedly cultivated ties with Trump and his fellow conservatives as a covert agent for the Kremlin. Noah asked. "George H.W. Bush once threw up on the Japanese prime minister, and Trump is now on top".
