Daytime temperatures will reach into the low thirties over inland areas of the south coast today and Tuesday.

Environment Canada has ended its heat alert for the City of Toronto and surrounding areas after another days-long heat wave gripped southern Ontario.

The heat warning is expected to end on Wednesday, but then an entirely different - though no less risky - weather front will move in, with a chance of thunderstorms hitting Calgary by Wednesday afternoon.

A 40 per cent chance of rain returns Monday with a high of 33 C. There's a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight and a low of 21 C. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
