Sturridge ready to stay and fight for more game time at Liverpool

Sturridge is back at Anfield after his spell on loan at West Bromwich Albion during the second half of the 2017-18 season, where he was limited to just six appearances due to injury.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, but the Englishman bullishly declared that he sees himself staying on Merseyside, as quoted by the Express.

Should Liverpool keep Sturridge?

Sturridge has been linked with Sevilla and Besiktas in recent weeks, but with Klopp admitting the door remains open at Anfield, the England worldwide is targeting a regular role under the German.

The Reds boss said: "It's my third pre-season here and every year we talk about the same things, and he always had a future, not a problem".
