Omarosa In New Book: I Saw Trump's Racism 'With My Own Eyes'

12 August, 2018, 04:57 | Author: Cecil Buchanan

Elsewhere in her book, she claims the president suffers from "mental decline" and alleges she once saw Trump chew up a piece of paper after a meeting with his then-lawyer Michael Cohen.

"Mr President, do you feel betrayed by Omarosa, sir?"

What did Trump say on Saturday?

Manigault Newman, who got her big break as a contender on Trump's canceled TV show, The Apprentice, has, in the words of the NY magazine's Jonathan Chait "met a wall of skepticism bordering on reflexive disbelief".

Manigault Newman claims she personally witnessed Trump using derogatory language while in the White House.

Space Force to Become Sixth Branch of Armed Forces
Kelly was referring to the Air Force Space Command, though the group has had different names over the years. The Trump administration is planning to create a Space Force , a new branch of the USA military, by 2020 .

She previously stated in an interview on Friday with NPR that she has heard Trump on an Apprentice tape using the racial slur. 'I rejected what other people said about him because they didn't know him like I did. "It's how I'm going to make great deals for the country".

Newman was once a vocal supporter of the president but has been fiercely critical of him in the months since she left the White House. Trump starred on the reality-TV show for years. She acknowledges she had never been able to obtain or hear the tapes but said three unnamed sources had described their contents. At the time, a source familiar with her departure told the Guardian that she had always been uncomfortable defending the Trump administration as the most prominent African American woman in the White House.

But that offer came along with a stringent nondisclosure agreement that was as "harsh and restrictive" as she had seen while working in television. "I said, 'Instead of the Bible?'" she allegedly said.

Even when she turned it town she was bombarded with a "flurry" of letters from attorneys warning her to 'stay silent about Trump or else'.

The White House responded by slamming the book and its author and chastising the press for writing about it.
