Donald Trump: There Is No Tape, N-Word Not in My Vocabulary

14 August, 2018, 06:21 | Author: Cecil Buchanan

Neither the White House nor the Trump campaign has directly addressed the hush-money claim, but White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders broadly called Manigault Newman, who is now promoting her forthcoming book, a disgruntled ex-employee who was spreading "lies and false accusations".

U.S. President Donald Trump and former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman faced off Monday in a messy clash that involved an explosive tell-all book, secret recordings and plenty of insults - reviving their roles as reality show boss and villain. "You know they run a big operation, but I didn't know it", Trump is heard saying on the tape.

"I don't have that word in my vocabulary, and never have", he added.

"What I think is really interesting, and this is the only time you'll probably ever hear me defending Omarosa, and it certainly won't be her actions, but I haven't heard this same criticism by Republicans leveled at Steve Bannon, who pretty much did the same thing", Rye said.

The adviser, Omarosa Manigault Newman, began serving in the White House shortly after Trump took office in January 2017. "The messages behind her style choices aren't always clear, but they are never accidental".

As with many such written pacts in the political campaign world, it prohibited her from disparaging Trump, even in the distant future, unless she were to be released from that obligation. She has defended her decision to secretly record it and says she has recorded additional White House conversations that she might be releasing as well. "She was vicious, but not smart", he tweeted.

It was his second major championship win of the year - having already successfully defended his title at the U.S. He tied Koepka for the lead after flagging his tee shot at the par-three 13th and sinking the seven-footer.

She used her TV appearances to hype up her story of working for Trump, fishing for the best publishing deal, the source said.

Ms Manigault Newman raised concerns that President Trump does "not know what is happening" in the White House, and stated this "should be alarming to any American". Neither the White House nor campaign immediately replied to TPM's requests for comment.

"Instead of telling the truth about all the good President Trump and his administration are doing to make America safe and prosperous, this book is riddled with lies and false accusations", she said in a statement. The problem? Many senior advisors were not aware of the photoshoot, and they ultimately banned her from sharing any of the images.

Manigault Newman said she viewed the conversation as a "threat" and defended her decision to covertly record it and other White House conversations, saying otherwise "no one" would believe her. Ouch! Her promotional tour is going to be a very short one if she keeps being rude to her interviewers.

Trump officials and a number of outside critics denounced the recordings as a serious breach of ethics and security - and White House aides anxious about what else Manigault Newman may have captured in the West Wing.

For example, she notes that the White House frequently has staffers sign non-disclosure agreements when they leave - which is potentially unconstitutional - and then attacks the staff after they leave White House and reveal its dysfunction. Guests included Conway and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
