  • On the 70th anniversary of India winning its first gold medal the nation has turned GOLD

We all know how much Akshay Kumar loves India and his patriotism and social messages reflect through his films and his social work for society, soldiers and policemen.

Secretary in the Road Transport and Highways Ministry Y S Malik welcomed the spirit of Akshay Kumar in accepting the government's offer to join as its Brand Ambassador, and hoped that the short films produced by the ministry with the actor will be etched in public memory and inspire people to follow road safety rules. Talking about acting in the video clip, the actor said he wanted to do something "unusual" to leave a lasting effect on the psyche of road users. In the video, the actor, who is dressed as a traffic policeman, flags a vehicle that tries to turn into a "No Entry" zone.

The actor took to his Instagram to share three videos and each had a very catchy caption. The actor asks the driver if freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak is his father as the road lane is named: "Lokmanya Tilak Road". He captioned the first as, "It is always better to be safe than sorry". He wraps the conversation by saying: "Aapke baap ka road nahi hai?" Lol. The response so far has ensured a Rs 20 crore start for the film, and our prediction of Rs 22 crore opening on Hype Meter is something that might prove to be true.
