Marie Avgeropoulos, the actress who plays Octavia Blake on CW's The 100, was arrested on August 5 in Los Angeles, Calif., after an altercation with her boyfriend.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

TMZ reported that earlier this month, The 100 actress was incarcerated after her boyfriend called police from inside a auto and claimed that she had hit him.

TMZ is reporting that Marie's boyfriend called the police from inside a auto and said his girlfriend had hit him.

Avgeropoulos's boyfriend called police and when cops arrived, he supposedly had visible "marks on his body" so she was taken to jail.


A source close to Marie claims the actress was on new meds and mixed it with wine during dinner that evening. which resulted in a bad reaction.

The boyfriend reportedly didn't want her arrested, but rather for police to diffuse the situation. She does appear to have been crying though.

Avgeropoulos was booked on felony domestic violence charges, according to TMZ.

Her beau, who was said to have asked cops not to take her to jail, later helped arrange for Avgeropoulos' release, reportedly settling her $50,000 bond. She was not in attendance at the 2018 "Teen Choice Awards" on Sunday following her arrest despite the "The 100" being nominated for "Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show".
