Danny Boyle will no longer direct the next James Bond film, with "creative differences" given as the reason for the parting of ways.

Director Danny Boyle has exited the planned Bond 25 film scheduled for release in 2019 over " creative difference".

The film is being produced by EON Productions, with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson returning.

Boyle, who won an Oscar for his work on Slumdog Millionaire, was due to direct from an original screenplay by John Hodge, who also worked on Trainspotting.

However, five months later, Boyle has parted ways with the Bond franchise.
