  • We've been mispronouncing Ariana Grande and Chrissy Teigen's names this whole time

After the Grande revelation, a chain of Twitter users ended up tipping off Chrissy Teigen to the name debate.

Ariana Grande shocked the world when she sat down with Ebro and revealed that we have all been pronouncing her last name wrong for years. Wrong order? I'll eat it. Taxi going to the wrong airport?

Teigen is known for her jokes, so no word on if this is one, too. Off camera, her mother confirmed it with a "Yep!"

The 32-year-old model took to Twitter on Sunday to reveal that everyone has been mispronouncing her name for years. I'll change my flight, ' she wrote. She said it's not pronounced "TEE-gen", but rather "TIE-gen".

What's more, it seems Chrissy isn't the only superstar whose name everyone says wrong.

"I don't correct people, ever", the star continued.

'I know. I even correct people when they say it correctly.it's all v effed up, ' she said.

Obviously this whole thing was a Big Freaking Deal to her followers, who couldn't quite follow the logic of correcting people who pronounced her name right in the first place: "I don't correct people but I do I don't know im so exhausted please let me go", Chrissy answered.
