When kickers missed a combined 19 kicks on Sunday, it wasn't hard to guess that there would be changes coming for some teams.

UPDATE (2:30 p.m. ET): Dan Bailey has leveraged his way into a kicking job with one of the NFL's best teams.

If Bailey can revert back to his days with the Cowboys, the Vikings will be an even bigger threat in the NFC. Bailey kicked for Dallas from 2011-17 before he was released September 1 in a surprise move. The Vikings have not yet confirmed that signing.

The Minnesota Vikings are aggressively pursuing kicker Dan Bailey after a disastrous performance by rookie kicker Daniel Carlson, who missed key field goal attempts in Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, according to sources.

There are multiple reports that Bailey turned down four strong offers previously. During his presser on Monday, Zimmer said that Minnesota is going to bring in Bailey for a physical this week and take it from there.

"It's disappointing when you've got an opportunity to win the football game there at the end and you come up with a tie".

"It feels bad. Obviously, I let my team down", Carlson said.

Carlson missed attempts from 48 yards in the first quarter and 49 and 35 in overtime.
