Several messages, purportedly sent from Lace to Drake, appear in the lawsuit, and he says he didn't have the "time or energy to respond". However, the singer alleges that Layla then tried to extort him once again by asking for millions of dollars in return for her silence.

In the summer of 2017, the lawsuit said Lace then went to NY authorities claiming that she had been raped by Drake in Manchester on that night.

When her alleged fake pregnancy plan didn't work, she went to NY police and claimed Drake raped her during their one-night stand. Police ultimately cleared him but Lace allegedly continued to demand millions of dollars for silence. As a result, Drake is suing for civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, defamation, and abuse of process.

After threatening to leak her messages from Drake, she then went on radio station SiriusXM and repeated her claims that she was pregnant with Drake's baby. "There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall", he said in the lawsuit. When Drake denied those requests, she allegedly hired a lawyer to pursue accusations that he raped her during their encounter in February 2017. She admitted to police that she had consensual sex with him but claimed he forced her into oral sex.

According to the suit, the case was referred to Manchester police, who interviewed Drake and ultimately cleared him. The suit then claims that Lace went to authorities in NY to accuse Drake of raping her, and that the case was referred to authorities in the United Kingdom who interviewed and ultimately cleared him.

When asked "how sure" she was that she is "pregnant by Drake and not somebody else", she replied: "Let me tell you something, I have a child, I'm a mother already".

"Enough is enough", the lawsuit states, as reported by The Blast.

Drake said she then hired another lawyer to seek a million-dollar settlement to avoid making the rape complaint public. It would be easy for Drake to pay for silence. "However, when Drake surprised her by saying he would take full responsibility if the alleged baby was his child, Layla refused to take a paternity test".

Drake, 31, is taking action and it's not pretty! She later deleted her account.
