  • Google Home Hub is all about simplifying the smart home experience

Along with the launch of new Google hardware this week, there are many Google Assistant updates on the way.

It's clear Google is continuing to go all-in as an "AI first" company. This hardware event didn't really bring hardware that amazes, but the integration of that hardware with Google's software and AI really creates something bigger than the device. Catch up in four minutes with this video!

And suggested responses will appear on the display: Tap one and it will be announced to your visitor, so they hear, "Sorry, we're not interested" when a salesperson is trying to hawk their wares. Keep in mind though, that both of those devices have larger screens than the 7-inch display on the Google Home Hub. However, at some point in the future most (if not all) of these updates will roll out to capable Android devices. That's why Google is now providing a few Kits and Bundles to make that choice easier. Those of you who passed on the new Google devices should also check out the list because you'll likely eventually see these features (and will just have to be jealous of early adopters in the meantime). For more specialized settings, that may be necessary. At launch, Google partnered with Lenovo and JBL to bring the Smart Display to market, opting not to build one of their own.

Hostilities started when the official "Made by Google" account sent out a Tweet asking what people would like to know about the Pixel 3, though it used a Pixel 3 XL in the image. Essentially, Google is providing an aggregation of your smart home devices in a simple, pleasing arrangement so you can adjust the environment easily with a touch. In fact, if you have the most recent version of the Google Home mobile app, you can see this for yourself because the interface is cohesive between phones, tablets, and the Google Home Hub.

Tigers not renewing broadcasters' contract after fight
It's sad that the 17-year run that these two had came to an ending like this, which is something that no one could've predicted. But these ridiculous, blatantly false descriptions require me to speak the truth and say they are utter fabrications.

The main highlight is a new Home View, which you can see by swiping down on the display at any time.

In a briefing with Google Australia yesterday it was confirmed that the Home Hub does indeed support their Duo calling app. No more app switching!

Google says that its new smartphones, smart speakers, and Smart Displays come with Digital Wellbeing built-in. It's hard to believe we're already at the third anniversary of Google's emergence as a true ... Starting with the Google Home Hub, you will be able to add users to your household and let everyone have access to all of your smart home controls.
