  • Rod Allen and Mario Impemba interview Carlos Guillen

Local 4 sources are reporting both Mario Impemba and Rod Allen will not return to call games for Fox Sports Detroit.

Now the two have apparently lost their jobs.

The Detroit Tigers will have a new look in the TV broadcast booth for the 2019 season. After Impemba had left the booth, Allen followed his broadcast partner and allegedly proceeded to assault him, choking Impemba from behind.

The altercation was because of a disagreement over a chair in the booth, sources told Local 4.

GOP, home to Trump and Tea Party, decries Dems’ mob rule
The message to Republican voters: Democrats are employing radical tactics that are only growing worse. Gunman James Hodgkinson, killed at the scene by officers, was infuriated by Trump's election.

The Tigers and Fox Sports Detroit haven't commented publicly about the reports. But these ridiculous, blatantly false descriptions require me to speak the truth and say they are utter fabrications.

Allen split color-commentating duties with Kirk Gibson and Craig Monroe the past two seasons.

It's sad that the 17-year run that these two had came to an ending like this, which is something that no one could've predicted. Neither have spoken publicly about the incident, which served as a sour ending to almost 17 seasons together in the broadcast booth.
