Disney's "Aladdin" live-action remake arrives on the big screen next year, and today Will Smith revealed the first poster for the upcoming movie.

As nearly everyone knows, Genie has been trapped inside the lamp for thousands of years, but once the street-rat-turned-phony-prince Aladdin rubs its side, Genie is finally free.

Aladdin is among a series of live-action remakes Disney has been working on. As we all know, Aladdin is that diamond in the rough. Will also shared the poster on his Facebook page and wrote, "LEMME OUT! Can't wait for ya'all to see me blue!" The Associated Press does not identify alleged victims of sexual assaults unless they come forward publicly, as Evans has done. The hearing comes a year and a day after The New Yorker first published allegations by one accuser in the case, Lucia Evans .

For the animated version, the voice cast included Robin Williams, Scott Weinger, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Gilbert Gottfried, Jim Cummings, and more. But, as the poster warns, Aladdin can't get carried away in attempting to win over Jasmine; he must "choose wisely" when making his three wishes with Genie.

Mena Massoud will be playing Aladdin, while Power Rangers star Naomi Scott has secured the role of Princess Jasmine. The film's release date of May 2019 also is listed.

Will Aladdin work as a live-action movie? Original composer Alan Menken is teaming up with Oscar-winning "La La Land" songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul to add two new songs to the movie.
