  • WhatsApp increasing delete time limit of messages !

Several months ago, WhatsApp had announced a new feature called Delete For Everyone, which allowed people to recall messages. This essentially means users can not delete a message for everyone if the recipient does not receive the revoke request in 13 hours, 8 minutes and 16 seconds.

At the time of the launch, users were allowed to delete/recall a message within 7 minutes of sending it. As per the new modification, the users will not be able to delete sent message after 13 hours, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds if the recipient will not receive the notification regarding the "delete request" in the stipulated time, WAbetaInfo, an online platform that tests the Android features, has claimed.

The new update is being rolled out understandably to prevent WhatsApp users from deleting older delivered messages that they could do by tinkering with mobile system settings. It said, "WhatsApp has updated the "Recipient limit".

She posted a clip of the music video with Piggy munching on something and navigating the blanket it's standing on. The 25-year-old singer and actress will reportedly give music a break for an indeterminate amount of time.

What this means is that if you send a message to someone but want to delete it, the message won't be deleted even after you select "Delete for Everyone" until the receiver gets a revoke request in the specified time. Simply put, within the 13 hours, 8 minutes and 16 seconds limit, the revoke request should be accepted by all members of a conversation, before the "Delete for Everyone" feature sets into effect.

According to WABetaInfo, now whenever you delete a message using the "Delete for Everyone" feature, the message will be deleted from the recipient's end only if the request to delete the message has reached the recipient's end within 13 hours, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds. With this feature the company aims to ensure that the modified version of the app does not manipulate the time of days, weeks and months for 'delete for everyone feature.
