  • Cops called to Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans and David Eason home for assault

Jenelle was hospitalized this weekend after calling 911 and telling the operator she was assaulted by her husband.

The Columbus County Sheriff's Office informed Us Weekly that, before Evans was transported to the hospital, police officers "advised [Evans] of the legal action she could take".

"Everything is great. We are totally fine ... just taking time off social media, time to focus on ourselves and our family."
Teen Mom 2 cameras captured her reporting that another driver was acting aggressively toward her. At first, Evans says no, but then she quickly adds, "I don't know what he has".

After cops arrived, Jenelle, 26, reportedly declined to ride in the ambulance and instead had a friend drive her to the hospital.

The incident happened while Jenelle was recovering from surgery to fix a deviated septum in her nose.

Weird note: it doesn't appear that this is the police department recording of the call because you can hear her dialing and crying before anyone picks up on the 911 end. She also opened up about her initial denial of the incident when she accused her son of lying. I don't want to be right about this'.

Just like she mentioned in the call, Jenelle underwent surgery not too long ago - Septoplasty and Balloon Sinusplasty. And when he said, 'Oh yeah, Mommy pulled out a gun.' I was like, 'No, I didn't.

Evans' rep later released a statement, claiming that the reality TV star had had company over on that Saturday night and had enjoyed a bonfire with them at her house.

She was not filming for her reality show, according to insiders. She says he pinned her down in the yard and she thinks she heard her collar bone crack.

David shared several posts of the pair together on his Instagram Thursday, hoping to signal everything is ok.

He later turned the comment feature off.
